ROOt down

Just as the roots of this Oak tree provide it with the sustenance to survive, its the shear depth of their reach that provide it with the strength to sustain the most brutal weather conditions time after time for centuries. As this tree needs such strength through depth so to does the golfer who seeks a golf swing built on a strong turn able to coil to create the strength of a tightly wound spring.

The above image perfectly captures the essence of a strong foundation, the key requirement for anybody looking to create a balanced, powerful and strong golf swing.

When you adopt a stance width that enables you to turn fully in the backswing without rolling any weight to the outside of your right foot, you will have created a solid foundation from which a strong swing will naturally develope.
